Every year we are grateful for our collections of 850 pairs of shoes, 200 Halloween costumes and 1,500 birthday supply donations for those in need, 400 holiday gifts for Ronald McDonald House Charities, truckloads of canned goods, 575 pounds of care package supplies for active-duty soldiers, 300 mittens and 200 hats, and much more, “For Goodness Sake!”
We truly enjoy being engaged members of each and every one of our school communities. Through carefully planned donation drives, local events, and service projects, “For Goodness Sake” strives to make a positive impact in our communities. From our students and families contributing to Giving Wagons and mitten trees to teachers grabbing a hammer for Habitat for Humanity, our entire school community takes pride in helping communities all over the Chicago area.
Giving Wagons
Kensington School strives to positively impact our communities through monthly-themed donation drives. With the help of our families, we are proud to have had the opportunity to support our troops, host canned food drives, donate warm winter apparel, collect animal supplies for our pet shelters, and so much more. In doing so, our students have learned the importance of giving back to the community and look forward to placing needed items into our Giving Wagons on their way into school.
