Kensington School of West Loop

Now Enrolling for Early Childhood Education in Chicago’s West Loop Community

Academic Early Childhood Education and Childcare in West Loop

Families throughout West Loop seek early childhood education, preschool, and childcare where strong educational foundations are balanced with opportunities to explore, create, build relationships, and experience the joy of childhood. Our approach to early childhood education builds upon children’s natural curiosity as they ask questions, explore possibilities, make choices, and discover more about themselves and the world around them.

Why Choose Kensington School of West Loop

Founded in 1969, Kensington School has grown to become a nationally recognized leader in early education. A Kensington School experience instills confidence, encourages critical thinking, and emphasizes the value of kindness.

At our West Loop school, hands-on learning brings ideas to life as children create, collaborate, experiment, and solve problems. Teachers guide and extend that learning, helping children develop independence while strengthening the social, emotional, and academic skills that support kindergarten readiness.

Serving Families Throughout West Loop and Nearby Chicago Neighborhoods

Kensington School of West Loop is conveniently located on West Adams Street, west of Racine Avenue and east of Skinner Park, providing easy access for families throughout the West Loop and nearby Chicago neighborhoods. We proudly welcome families from West Loop, Fulton Market, Greektown, Little Italy, University Village, Near West Side, and surrounding communities seeking early childhood education, preschool, and childcare that brings purposeful learning, meaningful relationships, and loving care together each day.

We are excited for the opportunity to get to know your family and look forward to assisting you with all of your questions.

Project Based Learning at Kensington School

Children are naturally inquisitive. They observe, ask questions, and love investigating the world around them. From sensory project-based learning with toddlers to beginning project-based learning in Preschool Prep and collaborative project-based learning for our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten (Junior Kindergarten) classes, this child-centered approach encourages a child’s intellectual curiosity with focused, hands-on explorations for all ages.
