Kensington School Earns National Recognition While Celebrating 20 Year Anniversary
Kensington School of St. Charles was awarded NAEYC Accreditation in February as they celebrated their 20 year anniversary in the St. Charles Community. Kensington School has offered full day educational child care in St. Charles for two decades, and is delighted to announce the re-opening of its part day preschool program and full day private kindergarten, with exciting new tuition rates in honor of their 20 year anniversary.
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the premier accrediting body for early childhood programs. NAEYC is the most recognized professional organization for early childhood educators. In 1985, NAEYC established a rigorous accreditation process to recognize programs providing the highest quality education and care for young children. Only a small percentage of the licensed early childhood programs in Illinois have achieved NAEYC Accreditation. The process requires a school meets more than 400 individual criteria, demonstrating it is of the highest standard. NAEYC Accreditation continues to represent the “gold standard” for excellence in early childhood education.
Charles Marlas, owner of Kensington School, shared his excitement: “We are proud of our relationship with the families in the St. Charles community. Through its NAEYC accreditation, Kensington School of St. Charles has received recognition of the superior programs it has offered for two decades.”
